RICTE, the Rhode Island Council of Teachers of English, is an affiliate of NCTE, the National Council of Teachers of English. It has been serving Rhode Island since 1959. In addition to our conferences, writing contests, and publications, RICTE chooses and honors a teacher of the year annually, along with an Early Career Leader.
